Mother's Day Prayers
I just wanted to remind all of you prayer warriors that there are many Moms spending Mother's Day in the hospital, praying over their child. Some are home caring for chronic health needs too. There won't be carefree frolicking in the park, brunch or handmade construction paper cards and gifts. The sound won't be melodious voices but the beeping of medical alarms. Also remember to pray for those spending Mother's day with a child in Heaven. I don't say any of this to bring you down but to make you aware of those who need your prayers. Even with my experience, I still need to be reminded.
After sitting by my daughter's bedside countless times, praying for her recovery, I was given a burden for other parents who are in the same place with chronically, critically or terminally ill children. This page has been set up to bring attention to families in need of prayer.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
