Update On Moriah

Mother's Day Prayers

I just wanted to remind all of you prayer warriors that there are many Moms spending Mother's Day in the hospital, praying over their child. Some are home caring for chronic health needs too. There won't be carefree frolicking in the park, brunch or handmade construction paper cards and gifts. The sound won't be melodious voices but the beeping of medical alarms. Also remember to pray for those spending Mother's day with a child in Heaven. I don't say any of this to bring you down but to make you aware of those who need your prayers. Even with my experience, I still need to be reminded.

Ezekiel is home now!

Update on Ezekial

Urgent Prayers Needed for Little Ezekiel!

This photo was taken of 2 year old Ezekiel and his mommy this past week following G-Tube placement surgery. Last night he was rushed backed to the hospital with major issues including possible liver failure, low blood pressure and dangerously low blood sugar. Ezekiel was born with several serious birth defects and medical anomalies. You can visit his Caring Bridge Page for his story.
Please pray for Ezekiel and his mommy Chelsea who is a worn out mom, parenting on her own. It is stressful, lonely and often painful. If you have a prayer list, prayer chain or intercessor group, please add him to your list. Things aren't looking good for this little guy right now!

A Miracle for Madalyn

Madalyn is still in the hospital. They had hoped to go home tomorrow and there have been complications so they may have to wait longer. They also are losing their private room which adds insult to injury. When you are a resident for months at a time, one of the only ways to keep your sanity is to make the room your own so moving is just one more thing on an already worn out family. ~*~Aurora update*~*

From Brandy: "She's doing much better thanks to the antibiotic, prayers, loves and well wishes.. She actually slept through the night last night and I got a solid 7 hours.. I can't remember the last time I got 7 straight hours.. felt like heaven!!"

Praying for Aurora

Sweet Aurora is a miracle girl that I have had the privilege of meeting in person. She is such a sweet peanut and a true inspiration. When I first spoke to her mommy Brandy, she was on hospice and waiting for her g-tub placement. She was 11 month old, born with Trisomy 18 and as most children with this particular genetic make up, was not expected to live past birth.

Aurora  has never read the medical journals so she hasn't been following them. She has however been a sick little girl lately. Her mommy just received some lab results that are concerning and noticed that her little girl's color is not quite right.

Please pray for healing for Aurora, peace for Brandy and strength for everyone in their household. They are preparing for a trip to my happy place this Spring (yes, the Disneyland Resort)  so we need everyone well and ready to have a wonderful family time together.

Sydney Grace has Passed

Prayer for Sydney Grace

I was introduced today to a sweet little angel named Sydney Grace. Here family has been updating here. She was born with Trisomy 18 or Edward's Syndrome. She was not expected to live through childbirth and is already defying the odds. I know firsthand how kiddos with genetic disorders can be fighters. The medical community certainly doesn't know everything! :) Please pray for Sydney and her family. Regardless of the victories they are experiencing, it certainly isn't an easy road.

The first is for the Chez Family. They have quite a story and today their little Abbey had heart surgery.

The second is Ashley Heffington who has been unconscious since a car accident  on New Years Eve. Their family needs your prayers and support.
